Last week, Jacobite, Nordhavn 47 hull 34, was discharged on her arrival on a geared ship from the Caribbean. Jacobite holds a firm place in NEL’s affections as she was the first CE built 47. Her owner has cruised her in many beautiful parts of the world and intends to spend the early summer exploring the Channel Islands and northern France, as he did when he Jacobite was new. She is here with us in Hamble for some very basic maintenance and cleaning after her shipping.
Neil and Philip were aboard at re launch and were very impressed by her condition and set-up.
“Jacobite was one of our early new boat orders when NEL started business and one we are still very proud of. Her owner has taken great care of her and it show in how she is set up for extended cruising. It truly was a pleasure to be back aboard” commented Neil.
As a heads up to anyone interested in Brokerage 47’s, Jacobite will be coming onto the market late summer. So please feel free to call for more information.
